HellermannTyton Introduces Sling Strap Cable Management

New mounting option suspends cable, wire and conduit

MILWAUKEE - HellermannTyton announces the Dual Arrowhead Sling Strap, an eight-inch nylon strap resembling a cable tie with arrowhead fasteners on each end designed for insertion into dual quarter-inch holes in the work surface. The result is a loop that securely hangs cable, wire and conduit without a binding force.

"This product was originally developed as a solar PV application – for suspending cable beneath solar panels – and we realized other applications could benefit from this solution,” said HellermannTyton Product Manager Missy DeBord. “When installing long runs of cable, installers typically trim the tail off hundreds or thousands of cable ties. Sling Strap eliminates cutting completely, saving time and freeing crews of having to hold onto a tool."

DeBord pointed out the Dual Arrowhead Sling Strap also streamlines maintenance. “If a cable needs to be replaced, it can be quickly removed and a new one inserted without cutting and replacing ties.”

Sling Strap has a 50-pound extraction force rating and is made of Polyamide 12 (PA12), a material known for exceptional resistance to UV, chemical and moisture exposure. This formulation remains strong and impact resistant in subzero climates as well as desert-like conditions, making it ideal for outdoor applications.

The Dual Arrowhead Sling Strap is available for immediate shipment.
