HellermannTyton offers a line of the most commonly used regulatory Solar identification labels used on large utility and scaled PV installations. Designed to meet NEC and IFC standards for printed text, character height, color and outdoor UV stability, they come pre-printed with the most common legends to meet the requirements of the AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction). The labels and markers are made with UV stable inks and materials for long lasting and weather resistant identification. Label are supplied with an aggressvie adhesive designed to adhere to both baked enamel and powder coat painted surfaces to ensure long life even in the most hostile environments. Pre-printed labels are protected by a UV stable clear laminate and pre-printed variable imprint labels, that allow variable printing using a thermal transfer printer, also come with an optional hand applied UV stable laminate to protect the printed text. Labels are reflective where required by IFC (International Fire Code). All labels tested to UL 969 label standards.
