FOAM NAMEPLATES: A DURABLE, LOW-COST ALTERNATIVE TO ENGRAVED PLATES FROM HELLERMANNTYTON
HellermannTyton (www.hellermann.tyton.com), a global manufacturer and supplier of cable management and identification solutions that assist in the construction and maintenance of wire and cable systems, introduces foam nameplates and foam button nameplates to its Identification Solutions product line. Designed specifically to replace plastic and metal faceplates commonly found on control panels, these foam-based markers are laminated with a high-performance polyester film that is printable using a thermal transfer printing system.
Not only are these foam nameplates durable, they cost less per unit than engraved plates and can be printed on demand. Creation, correction and replacement of markers can occur when and where needed; saving time, speeding production, and reducing inventory. Also, these high-density foam nameplates are an ideal choice for rough and uneven surfaces, providing a flat printed surface that is resistant to chemicals, solvents, heat and UV exposure. These markers have an aggressive adhesive that will stick to smooth or powder coat-painted surfaces.
