HellermannTyton, a global leader in cable management solutions, announces its launch of the wide strap heavy duty cable tie. This tie is designed to minimize pinching and crushing of soft hoses and convoluted tubing by disbursing tensioning force over a wider surface. The wide strap heavy duty cable tie is ½” wide and accommodates bundles up to 4.125” in diameter. Designed to provide secure fastening while not distorting the bundle, the wide strap heavy duty tie features a low profile head which remains close to the bundle providing compact bundling for applications where space is an issue.
The wide strap heavy duty tie is made with high impact, heat resistant material and is UV stabilized, making it suitable for high heat and outdoor applications. Available in stud mount and non-stud mount versions, the wide strip heavy duty cable tie is highly versatile with the ability to be installed on a wide range of heavy duty mounts. The tie requires a low insertion effort and the tapered bent tip makes it easy to locate and install during the application process.
