Project Manager

The HellermannTyton Project Manager is responsible for leading project teams to ensure project milestones and financial goals are achieved.  The main responsibilities include: 

 Ensure product development projects are completed on time and on budget

• Catalyst for process changes needed to achieve new product launches
• Manage project flow between marketing, engineering, tooling, quality, purchasing, and manufacturing
• Develop tools & arrange meetings that monitor and communicate project status
• Work with product managers in determining project feasibility
• Liaison to Europe on sister company designed/US manufactured projects
• Monitor projects on a continual basis and conduct product development effectiveness analyses which will be used to improve processes

Position Requirements: 

A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or engineering related field from an accredited college/university is required.  Five plus years of experience in related marketing or engineering field, preferably with injection molded and extruded products.  Candidates must have experience initiating and managing projects.  The ability to understand detailed tooling and product drawings along with the understanding of marketing, tooling, and manufacturing processes is also required.  The ability to motivate and effectively lead product development teams to on time and on budget results, which includes excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Candidates should have knowledge of QS9000 and TS16949 quality systems along with core tool understanding (FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, MSA, etc).  Advanced Microsoft Office skills are required.  The ability to travel domestically and internationally will also be required.
