Extrusion Technician

3^rd Shift (11:00pm-7:00am)

The Extrusion Technician is responsible for overseeing the running of extruders on the shift, setting the dies, completing documentation, and maintaining process parameters to ensure the manufacturing of quality products.  You will take on responsibilities in:

• Setting up, starting, and putting into production any and all extruded products
• Ensuring all process parameters are maintained within the specification limits
• Read and interpret shop orders
• Understand and perform all aspects of tooling set ups, cleaning of tools, and storage of tools
• Following all instructions to maintain inventory control and cycle counts

Position Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required along with good oral and written communication skills.  The ability to read and understand tool and product blueprints/specifications is also required.  Basic computer skills are required for the positions.  Prior forklift experience is preferred.  Applicants must be able to perform detailed inspections and completed associated documentation as well as follow detailed instructions in either written or oral form.  The ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for up to 12 hours when scheduled is also required.
